Kristin Ricci is a theatre educator, practitioner, and scholar.

“Not all are called to be artists in the specific sense of the term. Yet… all men and women are entrusted with the task of crafting their own life: in a certain sense, they are called to make of it a work of art, a masterpiece.” -John Paul II, Letter to Artists

Kristin is passionate about using research, performance, and classroom discussion to explore the ways in which humans craft narratives to make sense of the human experience. As an educator, Kristin recognizes that students enter the classroom with diverse investments in the material. Nonetheless, she believes that it is important for all students to understand how, regardless of the forms take, the narratives that they encounter and create shape their understanding of what it means to live a good life. Accordingly, through the study of theatre, she hopes to help her students develop critical thinking and performance skills that will aid them both as artists and more broadly as citizens within their communities.
